At Cube Storage, we strongly recommend our customers have a policy for Contents Insurance and Transit insurance. While in transit your goods are covered under Transport Liability Insurance, this cover is limited to $1500 per container. Contents Insurance is by arrangement only.

If you already have insurance, you can contact your current insurance provider and transfer your Home and Contents policy to cover your goods while in storage and speak to them regarding additional Transit Insurance aswell. If you require insurance, Cube Storage offers very competitive rates for both Contents Insurance and additional Transit Insurance.

What is Transit Insurance?
Transit insurance is an insurance policy to cover your belongings against damage while they are being transported. The policy may be indemnity or replacement.

What is Contents Insurance?
Contents insurance is insurance that covers damage to, or loss of, an individual's possessions whilst in storage. Some contents insurance policies also provide restricted cover for personal possessions temporarily taken away from the home by the policyholder.
